For the best results, follow these standard procedures recommended by experts:

• Preparation: If the wood is rough or stained, lightly sand it with fine sandpaper (approx. 240–280 grit).
• Initial Treatment: Rub the oil vigorously into the wood using the sponge applicator or a linen cloth.
• Soaking: Allow the oil to soak in at room temperature. For unfinished wood, it may take 3–5 days to fully absorb.
• Refining: Once dry, lightly sand with a higher grit (400 or higher) to smooth down any wood fibres that have "stood up" due to the oil.
• Finishing: Apply additional thin layers and polish with a soft cotton cloth until the desired brilliance and depth are achieved.
